Destiny 2 Cross Save Not Working: How to Fix it
For starters, setting up Cross Save is as simple as logging in on Bungie and going to their Cross Save page, where you'll follow their instructions to link your Steam account. For more info on the Cross Save feature, check out our guide on it.
A lot of players are having problems with the authentication step. If you play Destiny 2 on multiple platforms and you want your characters to be available on all of them, you should be able to authenticate some of them. For whatever reason, a number of users have been affected by a bug that causes authenticating on one platform to undo the authentication on another platform.
Here's one fix that's been working for some players: Log into Bungie's website and complete authentication while in Google Chrome's incognito mode. For whatever reason, this seems to do the trick. You should be able to authenticate your account on all platforms.
Remember that Cross Save requires you save your account to Steam, but Destiny 2 won't be available on Steam until the Shadowkeep expansion's launch on Oct. 1.
